HOUSTON AMERICAN ENERGY ACQUIRES WORKING INTERESTS IN WILBARGER COUNTY, TEXAS
Houston, Texas September 13, 2005 Houston American Energy Corp. (OTCBB: HUSA) is pleased to announce that it is participating for a 15% Working Interest with an 11.25% Net Revenue Interest in two new prospect areas in Wilbarger County, Texas. The Obenhaus Prospect consists of 1340 net acres and has 13 possible locations to test the Atoka Conglomerate Formation at a well depth of 7100′. Potential reserves are estimated at 1,250,000 barrels of oil and in excess of 2.5 bcf of natural gas. The West Fargo Prospect consists of 900 acres and has 12 possible locations. Wells will be drilled to 6400′ to test the Atoka Conglomerate Formation as well. Reserve potential is in excess of 600,000 barrels of oil and 1.3 bcf of natural gas.
