Houston American Energy Announces Results For Mavis Wharton #3 Well

Press Release SOURCE: Houston American Energy Corp. HOUSTON, TX, October 14, 2002 Houston American Energy Corp. announces the initial results from the White Oak Energy Mavis Wharton #3 well drilled on the company’s non participating royalty acreage. Based on electric log analysis and confirmed by side wall core analysis the well found fifteen feet (15′) of net gas pay at the objective interval at 1855′. This sand correlates to the interval that produced gas in the J.R. Oil Mavis Wharton #1 well. Two other sands in the well cored gas and completion attempts in these sands may be made by the Operator. Houston American’s management has had the opportunity to review the electric logs and core data from this well and is pleased with the results in the primary objective sand found at 1855′.
