Houston American Energy Corp. Announces First Production for Lavaca County, Texas Well

HOUSTON, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/– Houston American Energy Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: HUSA – News), announced first production for its Goyen #1 well in Lavaca County, Texas. The Goyen #1 well was brought on line September 30, 2003 at an initial rate of 350 mcf of dry gas per day. This rate of production is expected to be increased to find an optimum production rate for the well. Management is very pleased with the results of this well and is currently pursuing additional prospect opportunities in the same trend. Houston American Energy Corp. owns a 38% working interest in this well and associated acreage.
