Houston American Energy Announces Production in Acadia Parish, Louisiana

HOUSTON, June 13, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/– Houston American Energy Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: HUSA – News) announces first production from its Baronet #2 well in the Crowley Field, Acadia Parish, Louisiana. The Baronet #2 produced 3001 mcf of natural gas and 1.7 barrels of oil in the last 24 hours on a 14/64″ choke at 2100 psi FTP. Production is from the Hayes Sand at 11,840′ TVD. Houston American owns a 3% Working Interest and 2.25% Net revenue Interest until payout. “We are very pleased with the results from this discovery well. Assuming consistent performance from this well, a development well is expected to be drilled in the 4th quarter of 2005. This well will also test deeper objectives which are now believed to have potential.
