Houston American Energy Corp. Announces Drilling Results from International Operations

HOUSTON, August 4, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/– Houston American Energy Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: HUSA – News) announces drilling results from its international operations. The Company’s fifth well drilled this year is currently producing at rates between 1000 and 1100 barrels of oil per day.
“This well is very important in that it creates a positive further delineation of the reservoirs and it sets up additional locations.” said John F. Terwilliger, Chairman of Houston American Energy Corp. The drilling rig will be moving to the next location on this concession area upon completion of the location construction. Current plans call for continued drilling through the end of the year. Houston American Energy Corp. owns approximately a 1.6% working interest in this well and concession area.
